marvin e. kanze inc. was started in 1953, making it one of the oldest heating and air conditioning companies in the Main Line & Philadelphia areas. When Marvin began it was just him, one truck, his tools and the responsibility of feeding four children. When the business was in its’ infancy Marvin would install & service the equipment himself during the week, and on the weekends he would knock on doors selling. Since that time, the business has been joined by Marvin’s son, Aaron, who is now the president, and most recently by Aaron’s son, Jonathan, who is now the Vice President. Today Aaron & Jonathan run the business together, making it one of the oldest and most successful family businesses in the area.
Since 1953, we have grown to encompass multiple replacement, installation, service and duct cleaning crews which offer quick & convenient service on all makes and models. (For emergencies we even come out on weekends!)
However, we still remain a manageable size by choice. We have made this decision because we believe that by staying relatively small, we can concentrate on each job and make sure that our jobs are installed with unsurpassed quality. We like to say that we are a small enough company to remember your name, but big enough to service your needs in a hurry! All of our employees are factory trained, and then retrained when they join marvin e. kanze, inc. to do things the “Kanze way.” What this means is having our employees go that extra mile to meet that extra mark of quality that comes standard with all of our work.

We always say if you open up the phone book and look up heating & cooling there are thousands of people that do what we do. So it’s not what we do but how we do it that really matters!
So what makes us better?
A. Every employee we have has a license to work with refrigerant, every employee has a minimum of 6 years experience, every employee is continuously sent for updated training from the manufacturers whose products we sell, and all employees are criminally background checked.
B. Every installation we do is checked daily by one of the Kanze’s, now how many companies out there do you know where of the owners stops by every day to make sure you are happy, and getting what you asked & contracted for, and of course we are there to answer any questions/concerns that may arise during installation.
